Synchronicity is a debut album by Kompozyt - a brother-duo born in Poland and now living and creating in London, UK. Kompozyt are also the driving force behind Trees Will Remain Recordings, a label that is highly influenced by nature, its beauty and patterns, and serves as a reminder for humans to preserve it. Dissatisfied with all the rigid computer-sequenced music out there right now, Kompozyt set out to find these fleeting ephemeral moments of musical beauty and honest feelings. The sounds of deep healing, threads weaved masterfully in the evening air, these rarest of magical moments made of dust and hope. The musical fabric of Synchronicity was mostly improvised and played live in single takes using only analogue synthesisers and drum machines. The recorded material eventually emerged into a fully-fledged album. The name 'Synchronicity' with its roots in Jungian psychology suggests an exploration of inter-personal connection in time and in the ever-evolving eternal moment of now. On 'Mountain Tops', ''Homesick'', ''The Trees Will Remain'' and ''Aural Sunshine Dub'' Kompozyt are joined by the talented, Warsaw based trumpeter Olgierd. Olgierd has been performing internationally with bands Kirk, Zebry and Joëlle Léandre. His indispensable performances of real haunting beauty further reinforce the analogue, live and improvisational aspect of Kompozyt's music.
